Northern Beaches locals Aled and Steve started Creative Space in 2013 from a lock-up storage unit in Brookvale. The duo very quickly made a name for themselves with their stunning home transformations and were soon moving into their first factory in North Manly. While both had extensive experience in bespoke joinery and custom cabinetry, Aled also had a passion and flare for design, and Steve had a background in customer service.
About Us
This proved to be a match made in heaven for discerning customers. Their unique blend of beautiful design, quality workmanship and outstanding customer service has made them highly sought after by homeowners, landlords, interior designers, builders and architects, for bespoke joinery, custom cabinetry and full house renovations from Palm Beach to Paddington, and everywhere in between.
Through working with their clients, they saw a need for stylish, high quality furniture that provided the same timeless quality and individuality of custom joinery.
They were seeing so many people invest in a beautiful built-in wardrobe for their bedroom, but struggling with a wobbly, poor quality, self-assembled chest with the bottoms falling out of the drawers. Others were getting beautiful bespoke shelving and custom cabinetry in their living rooms, but were making do with an entertainment unit that did not reflect the stylish living space it occupied.
So in 2016, they moved into a 200 square metre workshop in Brookvale and started building furniture with the same craftsmanship, design, and timeless quality that they put into their custom joinery.
They also wanted their furniture to have the individuality and flexibility of custom joinery, without the associated hassle and expense. So they developed a unique online ordering system that allows you to shop and customise your furniture online according to your preferred size, colour and finish. The result is a piece of furniture that fits the style and space of your home perfectly.
And the icing on the cake? Because the furniture is designed and made locally, it can be collected or delivered fully assembled to anywhere in the Sydney area. There is no need for flat pack and self-assembly.
